Average White Band is a Scottish funk & R&B group known for hits like "Pick Up the Pieces" & "Cut the Cake". Formed in 1972, they released their debut album "Show Your Hand" in 1973. Their last album was in 2003. They won a Grammy for Best R&B Instrumental Performance in 1975.
