Blood Red Shoes, formed in Brighton in 2004, are known for hits like "I Wish I Was Someone Better" and "Light It Up." Their debut EP came out in 2005. They've won the prestigious NME Award for Best Live Band. Fun fact: Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell met at college.
