Ethiopian Jazz King, Mulatu Astatke, father of 'Ethio-jazz'. Debut in '76 with "Mulatu of Ethiopia". "Yekermo Sew" & "Tezeta" are fan-faves. Grammy-nominated in 2018. Featured in Jim Jarmusch's "Broken Flowers". Fun fact: Also a percussionist! Last album, "Derashe" in 2020. Still cool at 77!
