Shabazz Palaces is an experimental hip-hop duo from Seattle, known for their unique sound blending jazz, electronic, and Afrofuturist influences. Their debut album "Black Up" (2011) received critical acclaim. Hits include "Are You... Can You... Were You? (Felt)" and "Shine a Light." They won the prestigious Stranger Genius Award in 2010.
