About 1349

Norwegian black metal band 1349 formed in 1997. Known for intense music and lyrics, their most famous songs include "I Am Abomination" and "Sculptor of Flesh." They won the Norwegian Grammy for Best Metal Album in 2005. Fun fact: their name refers to the year the Black Death arrived in Norway.
